Your instructor will be Victoria Brooks, an accomplished and award winning landscape and portrait artist. Se has conducted and taught painting workshops for over twenty-five years. Her work is in private and corporate collections.

You'll learn to achieve successful results and capture the fleeting effects of light quickly and assuredly as Victoria reveals her plein painting secrets.

During the week we will visit the island of Capri, and stay in the village of  Anacapri. We will also visit the villages of Positano, Amalfi & Ravello, and historic and geographic sites. We will explore the Amalfi Coast, with quality time for plenty of painting at each of the towns we visit.

And, in true Toscana
Americana Workshops style, we will explore the local Italian culture, cuisine and wines with dinners in local cliff-side restaurants 100's feet above the water! This is bound to be a wonderful week with plenty of opportunity to paint "plein air" in a relaxed
and inspirational setting!

Through demonstrations and individual instruction, Victoria will guide participants through a process designed to help obtain greater confidence and pleasure from painting outdoors while improving
artistic vision and skill.

Although Victoria will demonstrate in oil color , the principles he shares can be applied to any medium including watercolor. Participants will enjoy morning and afternoon sessions as well as a day cruise from Capri to Positano.

Participants are required to provide their own art supplies, preffered paints, brushes & tools along with a portable easel.

Accommodations are intended as follows:
Anacapri - Villa Eva
Positano - Hotel Marincanto
